Finding time to do nothing and become still gets more and more challenging each day. But stillness helps to calm and tame the weary mind. This retreat, set in Europe’s last secret garden, in Transylvania, guides you towards rebalancing your chakras and to (re-)discover your passion and purpose-in-life. Integrating moments of stillness into each day. The rolling hills and the peaks of the Carpathian mountains surround you. No-one as far as the eye can see except some local villagers, cows in the fields and deer, bears and other iconic wildlife at a distance in the third longest mountain range of Europe. Nature immediately brings you into harmony and gives you a deeper sense of place, peace and purpose. You’ll be invited to be silent for several hours daily to rest and digest, and for reflection. Join the deep dive into silence for 24-hours. You’ll enjoy zen-walks in nature to boost your senses. During the daily yoga and meditation practices you will unlock the healing power of your chakras and find inner-stillness and peace.

Ingrid is the initiator of the power of time off. ‘What people have given back to me from my retreats and from my workshops, is that I’m able to create a safe environment. So you can let go and surrender to whatever is coming and going. I got this feedback from businessmen who have never done yoga nor meditation, from hip youngsters in their twenties, as well as from retired people. For me, this is beautiful feedback and I’m proud to share it with you.’

Since November 2016, we've hosted over 100 yoga retreats with over 30 facilitators. More than 1500 guests have experienced the Akasha Experience from over 49 countries and counting... We didn’t even know this many people knew Transylvania is an actual, real place.
We don’t like to boast, luckily we have out tribe who does this already.
“I did my first mini yoga retreat in this place! Everything was amazing: the location, the house, the great vegan food, the yoga staff, the caring owner, and all the people we met there. I lived a fantastic experience. I recommend this little peace of heaven experience to anyone who wants to take a break from the hassles of daily life and reconnect with themselves, nature and other fantastic people.”Read More
“Great food, home comfort and more, excellent yoga teacher, amazing environment and fabulous people around. Peaceful and relaxing place where you can recharge both your mind and body. The moment I arrived in Akasha and met the group, I’ve had a feeling of belonging and everything was very natural. I am an omnivore and honestly I never thought I can live on veggies.”Read More

“I can't find the right words to describe how wonderful it is. The friendly staff are all experts at what they do and so interesting to get to know. The accommodation, atmosphere, food and scenery is incredible. Walking around and picnicking in the Carpathian Mountains was sublime. If, like me, you've not been to Transylvania before or you've not done much yoga, OMG, you're in for a treat.”Read More
